Bridge # 14-83-03 Hillsdale covered bridge is located at the Ernie Pyle Rest Area, on State Road 36, east of Dana, Vermillion County, Indiana. It was built in 1876 by Joseph J. Daniels, using Burr arch construction and has a span of 104 feet. Originally it crossed Little Raccoon Creek near the community of Possum Bottom, but was moved to it's current location in 1972/73.
Parke County - Melcher Covered Bridge - 14-61-26 The Melcher Covered Bridge, also known as the Klondyke Covered Bridge, Marion Covered Bridge, or the Leatherwood Covered Bridge crosses Leatherwood Creek east of Montezuma, Parke County, Indiana, and is a single-span Burr Arch Truss covered bridge structure that was built by Joseph J. Daniels in 1896. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
