Bridge # 14-61-36 The Narrows Covered Bridge crosses Sugar Creek at the eastern edge of Turkey Run State Park in Parke County, Indiana, and is a single span Burr arch truss covered bridge structure that was built by Joseph A. Britton in 1882. The total length of the bridge is 121 feet.
Parke County - Portland Mills Covered Bridge - 14-61-21 The Portland Mills Covered Bridge is the second oldest covered bridge in Parke County, Indiana. It was built in 1856 by Henry Wolfe in Burr arch truss design. It was moved to its current location at Little Raccoon Creek in Parke County in 1961 to replace the Dooley Station Covered Bridge which was the victim of arson in 1960. Total length: 144.4 feet. Deck width: 13.8 feet.
