Chambers Road Covered Bridge in Delaware County, Ohio
Bridge # 35-21-04 Chambers Road Covered Bridge crosses Big Walnut Creek on Chambers Road near Marengo in Porter Township, Delaware County. The Childs Through Truss bridge was built in 1883 and is open for traffic.
Stemen House Covered Bridge in Fairfield County, Ohio
Bridge # 35-23-04 The Stemen House Covered Bridge, (known as the Estates Covered Bridge) was built in 1888 and moved in 1978 to Covered Bridge Estates. It was originally over Sycamore Creek and was 72-feet long. During the reconstruction, damaged and decayed sections were removed leaving the bridge at its current length of 36-feet. This is the only covered bridge in Fairfield County open to vehicular traffic.

John Bright #2 Covered Bridge in Fairfield County, Ohio
Bridge # 35-23-10 Built in 1881, John Bright #2 covered bridge originally spanned Poplar Creek on Bish Road near Baltimore, Ohio. It is named after pioneer settler John Bright, whose family farm was located near the original site. August Borneman of Lancaster, the leading bridge builder in the area, built the 70-foot span for a cost of $927.50. features a rare inverted bowstring truss and a The bridge unique metal sway bracing system. Sometime later a wooden arch was added. In 1975, John Bright #2 was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Ohio University Lancaster Dean Ray Wilkes led efforts to save John Bright #2 after it could no longer carry vehicular traffic. In April of 1988 the bridge was moved 12 miles from Poplar Creek to Fetter’s Run at Ohio University Lancaster, where preservation efforts on the bridge were undertaken. Cooperation among Ohio University Lancaster, Fairfield County, local businesses and organizations, and volunteers enabled the completion of the project in 1990. John Bright #2 is a testament to innovative bridge building techniques in the late 19th century and community cooperation and pride 100 years later.
George Hutchins Covered Bridge in Fairfield County, Ohio
Bridge # 35-23-13 George Hutchins Covered Bridge in Lancaster was originally built in 1904 and crossed Clear Creek at Strickler Road near Zane's Trace. It was rebuilt in 2000 in Charles Alley Nature Park using 30% original materials.
35-23-15 - Hannaway Clearport Covered Bridge in Fairfield County, Ohio
Bridge # 35-23-15 Hannaway Covered Bridge in Madison Township was built in 1881 by James W. Buchanan and rebuilt in 1904. It crosses Clear Creek on Clearport Road near Lancaster and is now part of Two Glaciers Park. A large window was added in the 1930s so that drivers could have a clear view of oncoming traffic.
Johnson Covered Bridge in Fairfield County, Ohio
Bridge # 35-23-16 Johnson Bridge or Terry Mill Bridge in Madison Township was built in 1887. It crosses Clear Creek on Amanda-Clearport Road near Lancaster. The bridge is open to pedestrians and bypassed by Amanda-Clearport Road. In the 1930s, two full-length windows and canopies were added to allow visibility of oncoming traffic.
Zeller-Smith Covered Bridge in Fairfield County, Ohio
Bridge # 35-23-19 The Zeller-Smith covered bridge was built in 1906, by J.W. Buchanan. It was originally located on Busey Road in Pickerington. In 1985, the bridge was damaged by an overweight truck and had to be closed. IIn 1986, it was moved to Sycamore Creek Park, still spanning the same creek. During the reconstruction, it was changed from a multiple Kingpost with arch truss system to a Queenpost style.

Preserved by Jim and Jane Walter in 1983. Donated to teh people of Fairfield County by Jim and Jane Walter in 2005. Restored and moved to this location by the Lancaster Parks and Recreation in 2005. Truss style: Multiple Kingpost. Original length: 97 feet. Preserved length: 50 feet.

Bridge # 35-23-48 The original bridge was built in 1849. It was known as Loveland Mill being owned by Joseph Loveland and Hezekiah Smith. It was on a route where men brought good from Detroit. A second bridge replaced the first in 1880. The current bridge was built in 1901 by Jacob R “Blue Jeans” Brandt (1836-1911).
Bergstresser Dietz Covered Bridge in Franklin County, Ohio
Bridge # 35-25-03 In March, 1887, the Franklin County Commissioners announced the building of a bridge in Madison Township over Little Walnut Creek at Kramer's Ford. Area citizens had petitioned for a bridge to transport agricultural products to the canal and railroad. Michael Corbett of Groveport con- tracted to construct the abutments and the Columbus Bridge Company built the covered bridge for $2,690.00. Reuban L. Partridge, company vice president, supervised the building. using his patented truss system consisting of double and triple truss members constructed of pine and oak. In the 1930's the road travelling over the bridge became State Route 674 and in the 1950's the road was redirected to bypass the covered bridge. In 1990, the county contracted with Abba Lichtenstein & Associates to evaluate the condition of the bridge. The W. J. Seidensticker Company repaired and restored the Bergstresser bridge using original and new materials. This, the last covered bridge in Franklin County, was rededicated September 1, 1991.
