Bridge # 35-15-08 The Church Hill Road Covered Bridge is a covered bridge in Columbiana County, Ohio. It was originally located over Middle Fork Little Beaver Creek in Elk Township. The bridge was constructed in 1870 and was relocated in 1982 near the Lock 24 Restaurant on Ohio route 154 east of Lisbon, Ohio. Spanning 19 feet 3 inches, the bridge is one of the shortest covered bridges for public highway use in the United States. It is a 2-panel single kingpost design.
Bridge # 35-18-25 Captain Charles A. Harding Company A - 612th Tank Desroyer Battalion June 24, 1915 - August 3, 1944 Charles A. Harding was a fourth generation member of his falily to live in Olmsted Falls, a 1933 graduate of Olmsted Falls High School and an Eagle Scout. He participated in football and track and continued that interest at Baldwin-Wallace College. Charles was a member of lmsted Community Church and an active citizen in the community. Charles was drfted into the United States Army on January 31, 1941 as a private in the Infantry. He rose to the rank of Captain in 1943. While serving his country in Worls War II, he died of wounds received in action during the battle of Mormandy. This bidge is a tribute to the memory of Charles A. Harding for his valor, dedication and courage.
